Is there a way to defense from vampire attack?

I got the vampire pack today and installed it. My sims are living in New Crest at the moment, they found 'vampire's secret' on computer,I was very curious about it. I let them study it, then there was...

LOL I just created a new game in Willow Creek and guess what... The first night my sim meets Caleb outside while he was fishing, then suddenly his sister came along knocking at my door, I invited her in! Then after 2 minutes Vlad came by knocking and last but not least Caleb returned and knocked too. Funny enough they came inside before my sim could even use the invite in interaction :D LOL now I have 3 vampires in my sim's home let's see what happens next :D
