Is there a way to delete flooring like single tiles or is it just me?

Is there away on sims 4 on console xbox one but if you know how to do it on ps4 that works too I just can't seem to delete 1 single flooring tile and I've had the game since it's been out on console am I just dumb or is it not doable but of It is can you tell me lol

As long as the flooring tile isn't on a foundation or flooring you can use the sledgehammer tool.

I don't think so. For either console. You either replace the tile with another type of tile or delete the whole floor.
