Sounds like you enjoy the pets, so I'm sure you already provided enough toys for the cat. Maybe the playful trait demands some more access to toys? I also wonder if the house has platforms, but if it was any routing issue, there might be a thought bubble above the kitten's head. I don't play pets enough to help, sorry. Let's hope it grows out of the habit :)
