Is there a way to set make sims look as good ingame as CAS?

In CAS sims have so much detail but when you go into game mode they lose all of it... I have everything set to ultra (because it auto defaulted that way so I'm assuming it's not my graphics card) I'...
create a sim

i notice some people like to overly light their houses with bunch of saucers

so that might be reason for loss of detail

other than that i do not notice such thing happening

oh and yeah sims like to pull derp faces in game they dont often pull in cas so that is another thing that might make them look derp and idk how to fix that
