So in this case it would be the sad wife, find the husband in her list of known sims and "revive Sim" using MCCC that way. I could be dead wrong, no pun intended. Hope you are able to reanimate your dead dude. Hopefully they are not an idiot and you end up regretting the decision either!
They come back as they were before death. I do it all the time. I have a spellcaster and she's brought back 2 family members.?
