Is there another way to get the vampire cure besides making it?

Soooo, I wanted Chris to be human again in time for winterfest. He fulfilled all the requirement: complete good vampire aspiration, have sufficient gardening skill, etc. I did have the cure but I lost it :D And I can't harvest anything in his garden because it's winter.

Is there any other way to get the cure? Or will Chris have to stay a vampire until next winterfest? (FYI winterfest is .. tomorrow, idk if he could get the plants to grow in time inside?)

  • Just a thought. You could try searching #vampirecure in the gallery and dropping it into your lot if you don't mind cheating a bit
  • I think it's in the catalog with hidden objects shown.
Also, you can just buy all the ingredients off the computer and use those to make the cure.
  • There is a cheat (assuming this last patch didn't break it) that will turn a vampire into a human. Make sure you first turn on the testingcheats first. Oh yes, make sure your in control of the sim you want to make the change on.

    traits.remove_trait trait_OccultVampire

I think you can only buy the seeds from the computer, that's the problem :D

But yes I'll try hidden objects, didn't know it also showed all the harvestables!

Thanks @LaBlue0314 & @keenow too (the thing with the gallery is actually pretty neat, I will have to remember that :D)
  • If I recall correctly, the "seeds" are actually the harvestables themselves, so if you spend the money you could buy enough to make the cure.

Oh god yes you might be right. How did I miss this :joy:

Well he missed winterfest. But he cured himself on NYE shortly after the countdown.

New year, new Chris. Thanks everyone :D

Indeed, the seeds work just like the plants themselves. This is how I've always made my cures
