Is there any cheat to set a sim's favorite drink?

Sometimes their favorite drink is a random choice depending on their personality traits at least from my observation. A snob tends to always want nectar but even their favorite drinks tend to be random.

Can you use a cheat to see hidden traits to see their fav drink? Or do you just have to watch them closely to see what they order autonomously ?

When they're ordering from the bar, select the option "order favorite drink" and whatever drink gets made is their favorite. It doesn't tell you in a notification or anything, so just hover over whatever drink that gets made.

I quite like the randomness. I wish they had other random favourites too, such as food/music/TV channels/collectibles.

If my non-vampires love Plasma Janes (or I move in a non-alien sim with a vampire aspiration) then I turn them vampire. It's the only way they can enjoy their favourite beverage.

If they like a non-juice type of drink, yet I still feel they are a party sim, I give them a different vice, such as the bubble blower or herbalism concoction.

I don't choose a favourite movie genre until they get the "Masterpiece of the Silver Screen" or whatever that +2 moodlet is. If I never see them get it, I just assume they are blasé about movies and don't really care.

For sexual preference, I like to see who they click with on their own. If I need specific traits/looks for a challenge, I make a club of singles to interact and flirt with to limit the pool. Anyone who fits, regardless of gender.

There is not trait cheat to unlock a favorite drink. They tend to order different things from time to time. Sometimes they order the same thing and sometimes they don't but if they have a decent mixology skill and are inspired they typically will have a favorite drink. Even with a mixology skill or 1-2 they can make their favorite drink. Other wise it's usually just random.

Every single sim I've ever used the 'make favorite drink' option for gets water as their favorite :/ I just assumed it was broken because no one ever gets anything but water. Its a bit odd. Maybe I just have very health minded sims? :D

True. My sim has Plasma Jane as her favorite drink. She's not a vampire.

I’m just a control freak with my Sims. Lol. I really like developing stories and characters. My Sims world is very intricate and interwoven. Being able to pick favorites be they drinks, movies, channels, music, food, or whatever would allow me an even richer gameplay where my sims naturally chose things their characters would choose. That would allow me to “watch” more then “direct.”

That being said I did just change all eight of my apartment dwellers favorite drinks using MC Command Center. How nice to have them selected appropriately... romance novelist-wine, athlete-protein drink, beers and mixed drinks to those who would like them. It is very nice.

the option is MC command center once you've downloaded it open you game click on your sim and click mc command center click mc cas and click sect favorite drink
