Is there any purpose to the color likes and dislikes?

The strongest effect is on your clients I was watching someone who I guess forgot wood is brown and used it in a build where a client doesn't like brown and it didn't go over well. I have a lot of what colors my sim likes in her house so she's usually happy beyond that even though it wasn't the exact question just what I've seen. I have a dresser in her room that specifically is one of her likes and that makes her happy with a temporary impeccable taste moodlet. As for dislikes I made her write a confident book for the beginning of her career and her tense mood over hating writing turned to anger fairly quickly the longer I made her do it. Though it appears they expected people to get hissy fit worthy by completely removing your control so you're in charge but the sims definitely respond more than they used to. Which is the purpose of it all.
