Simmerville

I think it's fine not calculating all colors for each sim. Say it would be done every time a sim entered the room or lot, or every time my sim entered a new room. To some simmers it could result in fewer sims arriving the lot because of reduced game performance. It would be nifty for creative sims (but then again some RL creative persons don't care a lot about the color on their living room wall) or perhaps for kids or teens. Or for none.
In my game I had color preferences for a few years and I use it to help deciding their choices in BB and CAS. I made a routine where each sim has a preference for color, material and style/setting. For each of them they have a score from 1-6, and the medium range don't really matter a lot. I thought it would be fun when two sims with conflicting preferences move together, but I must be honest and admit I don't spend much time on interior upgrades etc, anyway ;) These notes in my spreadsheet is helping me to get to know the sim though. Some times it's ok that I can do stuff like this without the game needing to know ;)
