tldr my kid got expelled ( even tho he's an A+ student and i THINK got his diploma? maybe?) anyways when i tried to enroll him into college he couldnt enroll in any degrees, except drama at Brichester. He can't even enroll into Foxbury. literally his entire academic career has been a struggle since he got expelled. I feel horrible cause his aspiration was the carefree one and now it most likely ruined everything.
Don't worry. You may apply again the next week.
Sims that drop out or get expelled can only enroll in distinguished degrees (which requires skills). Alternately, your sim could also use a computer to obtain a high school degree online.
What degree do you want your sim to get? With this, I can suggests skills your sim can learn during the week before they can apply again.
Or if you want to get into any basic degree, computer, then career, then get the diploma online. - ty i'll try that, I'd like him to get the engineering degree.

Engineering degree... So, two degrees that benefit engineers and what skills help to get into the degree:- Computer science (Computer engineer) - rocket science, programming, mischief, robotics
- Physics (Mechanical engineer) - logic, handiness, robotics, rocket science
And yes, I'd definitely recommend the online high school degree. Engineer is one of the careers that is blocked to the expelled and drop outs. - Computer science (Computer engineer) - rocket science, programming, mischief, robotics
- If a dropout gets into the distinguished Engineering degree would that eliminate the block on the career, or would they still have to do the online high school degree even after earning the distinguished degree?

Good question. I'll have to test it out. - EgonVM3 years agoSeasoned Ace

I'm back with an interesting find.
If your sim has an university degree, they are once again able to get any job without having to go through the online degree.
So not only will the physics degree allow them to pursue engineering, but it also unlocks becoming a doctor, detective, businessperson etc.
Conclusion: If your sim is expelled or dropped out and get an university degree, they can join every career available.
Edit. So with this suggestion:"EgonVM;c-18180132" wrote:

Now that I know, if your sim is pursuing a distinguished degree, no need to get that online degree. I'll strike this out in the original post. - Cool thanks @EgonVM
