Is there any way to slow down the time in the game, but nothing else?

Time is going just way too fast, so fast, before my sim realizes it the day is over. Now my sim is a vampire, so she doesn't need to sleep, and the day still goes by to fast. She's a pretty busy wo...

Imagine just sitting around for 45 min or an hour watching them eat though. Excruciatingly boring. It would be more fun if the time they take to perform certain tasks would correspond more to real-time as well.
