I definitely think it odd and unnecessary, maybe even wrong to advertise "any" game with content it doesn't actually have. That said, it's extremely easy to look up actual gameplay of any game. I do it all the time if I'm curious about something.
I swear a few mobile game ads almost got me till I saw the real game which was 360 difference ??
What did I do? I moved on with my life.
I can't even count the number of times I saw an ad for toys as a kid with waterfalls, explosions, like all kinda stuff going on. Begged my parents to get it then realized I had to use my imagination ??? I'm like where are the cool explosions? ?
Barbie ads certainly never got heat.
The outrage over the sims is something I personally have not seen before. They get picked on for literally any and everything they do. ?
It's one of the main reasons I can't see a sims 5 happening because people only degrade as time goes on despite advancing technology. And if it does happen I won't be around to see the outrage. I promised myself to stick it out till the end of sims 4.
Plus I still think horses are actually coming at some point. ?
