Is this game already considering a sim's fertility?

I've noticed that when I (rotationally) stop by a house to make them try for baby, the next time they are not pregnant and no baby is in the house. In other words it was a failure. Which I like. It wo...

Quickest way to check a sim if they are pregnant is clicking the toilet and see "throw up", it is as good a confirmation as any if you haven't used a test first.
