Is this game already considering a sim's fertility?

I've noticed that when I (rotationally) stop by a house to make them try for baby, the next time they are not pregnant and no baby is in the house. In other words it was a failure. Which I like. It wo...

The default chance of a successful try for baby is 80%. But when your sims are (very) flirty it does help. When one of the sims trying for baby is in a negative mood, that lowers chances of conception significantly.

It does seem like young adults are more fertile than adults, but that kind of makes sense.
