Island Living - 'Off the Grid' lot trait

Yeah I saw that too. I've always wanted to explore my sim living off the grid, and this new EP with that living off the grid lot trait, can definitely help. I can't wait to see what buy items we get.

I am curious about it as well. I remember when they did a community vote back when laundry won, off the grid, was one of the ideas that they had before.

This pack keeps getting better and better!

I guess this is their way of bringing off-the-grid content to those who wanted it in the community SP? :) Someone did mention that some IRL islanders do live off-the-grid, which I find interesting. And as a game mechanic, this could introduce a different way of life for our sims. I'd like to hear more too

Hopefully we will find out more when the Sims Game Changer content embargo lifts tomorrow June 11th, 8AM PT.

Yesss!! I am going to do one for this pack living off the the island style and this trait sounds perfect. Hoping it’s as cool as it sounds.

I'm so glad they're adding "off the grid" to this EP! I actually only voted for the Eco Friendly stuff pack instead of the Wedding one because I was hoping for something like "off the grid" or canning, recycling, more gardening stuff, etc. to win. I definitely didn't want a laundry pack, so I'm happy that the people that voted for Eco Friendly are finally getting Eco Friendly content!! And we can have a beach clean up career! This is SO NICE!!!! <3

Yeah it could have something to do with the Beach Bum aspiration but the question is whether it lowers bills and comes with new objects. They said they wanted to keep some things secret and I remember there was a survey for an off the grid pack.

Sometimes things tie in between packs like we are getting sunburn in this pack but it goes well with seasons. I think if we don't get off the grid objects they could tie in later with a farming pack. Like a wind mill for water and some sort of solar panels goes better with farming. The same way sunburn and sun bathing is maybe better with this pack than seasons. We will have to wait and see.
