EPs used to have so much, you couldn’t POSSIBLY learn every detail about them before release. I was counting on that because that has long been my experience with these things. I had trust in the Sims team that they would deliver more than just what it looked like on the surface. That trust is gone now.

The Game Changer videos I saw all had the same message: “There doesn’t APPEAR to be a lot of gameplay here, but I have only played it for a few hours so maybe I just haven’t come across it yet”. Again, it’s about us trusting that there was more to find when we had the game in hand.

So yeah, I am disappointed.

I actually learn things about this pack every day in the did you know thread that I've yet to encounter. I haven't finished the career, haven't seen half of the events, haven't seen an albino dolphin, don't even know if sims that aren't mermaids can meet dolphins, didn't know you could set policies by advancing in the career, haven't seen any sharks, etc. I'm sure there's other things I know nothing about.

I agree though that they've reused a lot of animations and I can certainly understand some of the other criticisms being leveled against this pack as well (like the rabbit hole cave and lifeguard career). But overall, I enjoy it a ton and I find there's so much more to it than what I knew from videos or even just from playing it myself.
