I'm liking the island pretty well. With the addition of the things there is to do for them. But alas......
it's like the rest of the game and one of my biggest complaints of this iteration is that the sims never seem to be able to do anything "together". They can't go for a moonlight walk on the sands holding hands. They can't ride the boat together. They still can't dance together. There's no real affection between them either.
I'm sure that's why there's no beach volleyball or anything like that simply because the game doesn't allow for multiple sims playing "together". And that's why bowling, and basketball both feel like an individual activity as well. Everything they do "together" even with the GET TOGETHER club system is all individual things.
"Wanna have a catch, Dad?" Nope. Not in sims 4. And that's the saddest part of the game to me. So I don't ever foresee anything like frisbee, or even catch, or volleyball, or anything that involves more than one sim at a time.
But I am still holding out some form of hope that this will somehow change, but it's waning with each new piece of DLC.
Yeah. :'( I really hope they listen, and try to fix this. Even the small action of cuddling in bed and spooning each other like in Sims 2 goes a long way. Make your sims feel more "real". Kids not being able to play together (chase, cops n robbers, hop scotch, etc.) It's the little things.
