My honest opinion, if these EPs were priced at $30 instead of $40 and delivered the same exact content, I believe there'd be less fuss coming from the community. Only 1 EP I bought at full price. Everything else was half off (Im getting IL when its on sale). And playing through those expansions, more times than not I was glad I didn't pay full price.
I bought Island Living at full price. It’s usually not something I would do, but I’d never been so hyped for an EP in my 1.5 years of sims so I decided to treat myself. I now really regret it. I wouldn’t even pay $20-$30 for it, so what you’re doing is smart.
