Seriously, I love the pack, but the world and gameplay seriously lends itself best for a Sim(s) that's basically following Sebastian's advice.My mermaid couple has not even bothered listing with the Chamber of Commerce, they just make a living (and are rich!) by selling (climate neutral organic healthy rawfood) moonshine, diving for treasure and sunbathing all days. Which basically is my dream life. Not being lazy, but being able to be lazy whenever I want. In Hawaii. ---Also, the "I saw a Shark" emotional buff is hillarious if you are a Child Of The Ocean: It's a happy buff that reads "(something something) What a silly little sharkie!" (from memory, so not exact).

I love Island Living too. In Sulani, I find that I do not fast forward my sim households hardly at all. In other worlds, I find that I fast forward the game all the time. My gameplay style in Sulani also sounds alot like the way you play too!

And yet we can't actually go under the sea. :(

I love Sulani and it’s residents. It’s one of my favourite expansion packs. I’m a bit disappointed with mermaids though.

I was so disappointed by this pack the most, I was a big fan of the Sims 3 version, so couldn't wait for this one. But unlike the Sims 3, in this one you can't dive underwater, can't physically go under the ocean and look for treasure, mermaids, sharks etc which I used to love doing. There's isn't much interaction with mermaids, they act like a normal sim, not much new they can say or do when you are friends with them, so it's a let down once you discover them. I also used to love being able to live on house boats and have the house boats travel around the islands, you can't do that in the Sims 4, it's more limited than Sims 3 island expansion.

Island Living is perfect... if you are playing out the Under The Sea song as a way to live.

To be honest I'm not bothered about that, it's a pretty heavy feature to put in that takes redesigning half the game as it doesn't usually play like that and I honestly didn't find it that interesting in 3. I still wish there was something similar like a mermaid grotto in the cave to expand upon the mermaids a bit more. I love Sulani though, it's a gorgeous world.

I love Sulani world. It was the first world I started to build for my playsave, I have all the lots as I want them now, and the plans for all my sims who are to live there.
I have only read about Hawaii and the Polynesian Islands, but I really like that the world and premades fits with what I have read about the history, it gives a well thought out impression, and adds to my gameplay.
I have also made a beach bum, living on Key Point, in a ship wreck. It just sort of invited to it.
