Island Living question - where are my prior random townies that wandered other worlds?
I got Island Living a few days ago and started a new household over there.
I've been noticing that, as far as I can tell, none of my pre-existing townies or sims have visited the island.
Is this a thing or just random chance? If it is a thing, is it configurable somewhere with a setting or even a mod. Is this just something that happens with a new pack while it fills in initial townies, and I'm only noticing it now when it's been this way with all the other packs too?
EDIT: I did see one... one of the townies that got made to fill in the magic HQ, saw him working an off lot food stand. I happen to remember him because he has the same name as a guy at RL work, off by one letter. So... I guess it is just a thing where they will slowly filter in and mix together once I have a 'decent' number of locals as well.
Total aside making it hard for me to be 100% certain on this: When I sort households by 'creation date' they seem to just randomly sort. The newest and oldest households both usually being very old. I can find a cluster of households in the middle of my townies list that have Polynesian surnames suggesting they were made after my purchase - but it's almost like 'sort by date' sorts in some weird bell with 'new' in the middle and the further you go to the top or bottom of the list the older the sim gets... Like... what?
