Totally blindsided by this announcement. Why the sudden change? Don't assume I am mad because this is very good news for the players that believed StrangerVille would be their last pack, and I am excited they will be able to add Island living to their games. But EA has been saying for months they plan to drop support for older systems in June. Then mid-way through the month they have a change of heart? I am not going to speculate on the whys behind this. But I will do a bit of research because I'm very curious by nature, and can't help myself whenever EA suddenly veers off the path. But I am wondering why they didn't announce this at EA Play because they did talk a bit about the Legacy Edition, and nothing was said about it being put on hold.
