Well at least the developers shouldn't been added a reggae radio station to Caribbean patch or Island Living! I can't stand Polynesian cultures!

I know you're disappointed, but please keep in mind that there are Simmers who live on Pacific islands, including Hawaii, who would be very thrown by seeing Pacific island culture to the soundtrack of a place halfway across the world and completely unrelated to theirs. It would be no different from setting a pack in France but using traditional Japanese music as the soundtrack to it, or like seeing my city of Toronto set to a soundtrack of country music instead of, as every Raptors fan knows, hip-hop (with a distinctly Toronto flavor, which is different again from American hip-hop). Island cultures and tropical cultures are not interchangeable with each other.

Perhaps at some point Sims will have a different kind of pack for which they use a setting that reggae fits better. Hey! They could use my city for inspiration, and have hip-hop/reggae/calypso as a station. It would fit here, and make sense to those of us who live in this place and culture.
