Isn't it possible now to have social events on Generic lots?

The new patch (the one from 7. nov) was supposed to enable generic lots for various social gatherings like weddings, b-day parties, etc and I downloaded a church that is designated as a generic lot an...

oh that's funny, in my case i built a church and added the restaurant items outside of it so my sims can have wedding and reception on the same lot lol.

@Stina1701A I did read about that patch and read it was possible, i'll have to try it out in my game and let you know.
