So, I decided to go try some gameplay at the maxis made restaurant. Everything is fine except the cooks there too. The put something on the stove, then go wandering around, or just standing around and not even in the kitchen.
this sounds really like a mod incompatibility
I ran my game with only MC Command and my cook would not do anything. NO food was delivered to the tables for 2 open nights. Also, my waitress wanders around between doing her jobs (when food was delivered before I took out all my mods (but for MCC). I have a multi-level establishment. I created a hotel-apartment/restaurant and she wanders around in the upper level rooms watching tv, playing on the computers and taking a bath and using the toilets up there. There is a bathroom on the restaurant level AND tvs for the patrons to watch.
Oh and I do have refrigerators in the restaurant kitchen and patrons actually went into the kitchen to make themselves microwave meals."Romire;14902598" wrote:

Use the Lock Door For function to keep sims out of kitchens and other areas. That seems to sort it that. I set mine to Allow Employees Only for the kitchen and Allow Household Members Only for the private areas.
And definitely take the MC Command Center mod out until Deaderpool has a chance to update it. That's been causing all kinds of issues especially the time delay one.
Did you report these issues to @Deaderpool? As far as I know, his mod is updated to the last patch. Just curious because I also use this mod. I haven't a chance to play much yet but if there are issues he should be aware so he can fix them if it is caused from his mod.
A few people have told him already. Although he updated it for the patch there were more changes that came with the game pack so those are what will need to be accounted for and I'm sure he will do given time.
Personally I've taken it out of my game for now because I wanted to play a restaurant as smoothly as possible.
