It was most likely a light or something of that nature that was just put in the way or it's a bug with the house creation itself. I've had to reset my sim a couple times but it was with a bar involved and I'm guessing that could have been because I have moveobjects on when I placed the bar. Other than that my game is acting well enough to tolerate lol.
