I take the entire bunkbed. ?

Top Bunk: I have a better overview of my territory from up there.
Bottom Bunk: To have a little rest after climbing down the ladder. Can’t do that when somebody else is already lying there. It only makes sense.

I do like the idea of modular bunk beds if that’s what they are. I’m hoping for more modular systems and BB improvements in the future, such as additional stair customization so that we can create our beloved winding stairs. Although I can see them as being a separate object since they’d need a different animation. However....it’s taking them quite long to add these requested items and now I believe this is because they’re part of a more complex modular system or part of a specific build tool.

Improved traits....great! I do no longer use personality mods, but I wonder if the team was inspired by some of these.
Personally I believe that the trait improvements have to do with trait development over time. I’m basing that idea on one of the options given in last year’s general survey. I’m curious to see how improved traits work with the existing emotions system. The latter would’ve needed work to make the former seem more meaningful.

Owning a ladder with a bed attached to the top and a bed attached to the bottom is the best kind of ladder in my opinion.

Not a fan of the wood texture on the bunk though, it looks kind of alpha. Maybe it was designed as part of their CC creator collab?

I download alpha cc, it tends to have much more realistic textures and details. Many items are based on real life furniture. This looks more maxis, it is pretty plain.

I mean the wood texture and the mesh looks very simple and low quality similar to a lot of "alpha" cc bunk beds. Official maxis EA style items usually have more detailed textures and the meshes of them are usually more 3d looking.

Alpha has higher polygons with smoother curves and players use alpha to create a more photorealistic look. Vanilla game assets have gotten more detailed but some base game objects were simple, with jagged meshes and blah textures. The new bunk beds look maxis and you can have poor maxis match cc too. Alpha should not be synonymous with bad quality, there are many alpha cc creators who do beautiful work.

I said it in a different thread and I say it again, I was excited for the bunk beds until I saw that tweet, the bed is absolutely hideous.

Top bunk. It's where I slept when I was a kid. I also had an irrational fear of getting smooshed between the top and bottom bunks if they ever fell somehow.??‍♀️
