Date they started working on it maybe?
Maybe that’s the day they decided on the expansion pack. How exciting! It’s been over a year so that seems like a long to me. I hope it will be good!"Jewels20;c-17903235" wrote:

Is it April 11th or November 4th? I mean if Crumplebottoms live in "Britain", it should be the former. :p"Jewels20;c-17903261" wrote:
Do they live in Britain? I don’t know about the date then. Maybe it is just random.
Well, town is British-inspired and they seem to live there. But I was mostly joking, it's probably American format (Plumbella also pointed out in her video that they say "post office", not "postal office", so I doubt there is any real British lore haha).- Karamazov123Seasoned Hotshot

It's another hint at dragons. "Gordy;c-17903270" wrote:

that being said the picture in photo has me confused cause it looks so much like britechester and im not sure i need that type of world so hopefully its just that particular spot in the world that looks similar
Britchester definitely felt British and this pack is giving off British vibes too. However Britechester is a city and this is the countryside so I do think they'll be fairly different.
Also Henford-on-Bagley suggests that the river going through is called Bagley and the village is called Henford. Names like this are usually to distinguish places with the same name, like we have Henley-on-Thames and Henley-in-Arden (on the Thames for the river Thames, in Arden for the Arden forest). Both would colloquially be referred to as just Henley though.
interesting
and yeah i think I'm just mostly worried about it being too similar to what we already have in terms of worlds
windenburg, brindleton bay, britechester, granite falls.... its all very similar climate i feel like
like nothing against cute country village but i guess I was just hoping for something new and # never done before with how they worded the hint
oh well I will just refix my interests yet again
at least it doesnt sound mega modern like eco lifestyle which is a plus
aaand also there is mention of crumplebottom so there is hope for that :bawling: (really tho pls come with some romance and bag slapping)"CelSims;c-17903334" wrote:

I didn't see any links between this and romance, honestly, but thinking on it now - an English country village is a nice place for a picnic... And it reminds me of the description of the 'Proper' trait that came in Snowy Escape, that those people like 'courting' rather than overt romantic gestures. Maybe a courting system, sort of along the lines of regency romance, might be coming? It's not exactly what I want from a romance update, but it would be interesting and better than nothing.
Honestly I'm torn because I really want horses and think they'd fit better in this pack than romance, and if they do all three it might mean everything's shallower than I want it to be...but if they do farming/rural life, horses and romance well, I'd be ECSTATIC with this pack.
I think you said you are English like me though and we don't tend to think of our own places as romantic or tourist destination worthy. My American partner thinks those little villages are very romantic. And Americans think my little town in MI is a great tourist spot whereas to me the woods and clean lakes are just .. home. I could see it being attached to romance and if it meant that fairies came in their own pack and not lumped into an EP, I'd be all for it!
well its really mostly the mention of crumplebottom for me because she was iconic in past games romance eps  i can't disconnect the 2 and i hope she comes with her bag slapping activities
(aaand i mean i wouldnt mind cheesy barn weddings)- SimburianSeasoned RookieYes everybody but did you notice there were two Crumplebottoms? A & A Crumplebottom. Are we going to meet her husband at last, or her daughter?

Maybe we might find why she's such a crosspatch. I would be interested to see what her husband was/is like. I'd love it if the pack was back in time a few decades to find out.
Just thought. If she is in it we might get a few more outfits for senior Sims. I cannot envisage her in crop tops and jeans or short skirts.
