It wouldn't be one of my Sim's parties unless this happened

I have mentioned before about the amount of deaths by laughter that my sims have. I can almost guarantee that when there is a party someone will be struck down with a fit of giggles!! This time it was Millie Kyleson. My camera was focused elsewhere when I suddenly heard the dreaded music and I was pulled to the living room where Millie was keeling over. Thank goodness Mum and keen gardener Jenna had given everyone death flowers. The Grim Reaper accecpted a flower and poor Millie was resurrected to live another day. Millie's traits are Green Fiend, Good and Snob so nothing there that would make her more susceptible to laughing. The Kyleson family are very keen on their parties so I wonder who will laugh to (almost) death at the next one!

  • It always terrifies me whenever my Sims feel any emotion too strongly! Thanks goodness for spellcasters and their dedeathify spell!

Turned those off with MCCC a long time ago lol.

That's probably the first setting I changed when I started using MCCC.
  • Anger is the only emotion that makes sense, and really only for adult/elders. I love random events, but not sheer stupidity.
  • It is kind of funny since you saved her, the random extreme motions seem a little varied, but yeah I would say a stash of death flowers is very needed.

Well, that's true if you mean realistically, since that's the only one that actually kinda sorta happens IRL sometimes. But the others do make sense in that dying of laughter and dying of embarrassment are common ideas and phrases and the game just made them literal since the Sims is a mix of realistic and fantastical stuff. Also according to a Britannica page about whether people can actually die from fear: "The answer: yes, humans can be scared to death. In fact, any strong emotional reaction can trigger fatal amounts of a chemical, such as adrenaline, in the body. It happens very rarely, but it can happen to anyone." So I don't find it too out there for the game, TBH.

I wouldn't want them add a death by fear, though, or else my werewolf would cause all his friends and family to drop dead all the time whenever he rampages.....
