Italian BB items?

Someone explain to me how they made a pack with an Italian-inspired world and yet there are no BB objects that even hint at Italian decor.

No mosaics?? You want us to build Italian villas without beautiful mosaic tiles?

No outdoor pizza oven? Or scooters/vespas? No glitzy boujie Versace-inspired sofas? Not even some Roman-style chaise longues to lie on and be fed grapes??

I am SO disappointed. With all the other Game Packs, as well as the stuff specific to gameplay there were always generic/additional items just to enrich the setting. But this...

I feel particularly strongly about the Vespa oversight as that is so, so Italian and it wouldn't have even been that difficult to just re-hash the current bike animations. Ugh. UGH.

    Yah, that's the most depressing thing about using a lot of CC and mods. You can just disable it all to do a build for upload, but if you build a lot, that gets tedious. I don't do any uploads for that very reason, and I can see why someone would take the inverse approach and just not use any CC.

    I just don't have the willpower to resist the best looking CC that I see. I'm actually impressed by folks such as yourself who do!
    And also appreciative, because I download from the gallery a lot, and I won't download anything that uses CC assets, despite using a lot of CC myself.


    Oh I have dabbled in the past! I got obsessed with CC clothes and BB items but I then downloaded so many objects that it became impossible to filter anymore. So I turned CC off and ended up with a bunch of bald Sims with no pants walking around... and that was the end of my CC adventure :lol:

    I had visions of a ‘Rustic Italian Villa Kit’ being released. ?

    I think they concentrated too much on the wedding items and forgot to add furniture that reflected the new world.
    Agree on spiral staircases, pizza ovens and scooters being great additions. ?

    So many missed opportunities to make the pack interesting for people who are not interested in weddings.

    I think the pack is more inspired by Croatia and Greece. However, I would have liked more B/B items (and veils in CAS!).

    this is exactly why I was against including world in romance pack in first place
    not only did it sacrifice additional romance gameplay with just focusing on weddings and making room for a pretty world
    it also sacrifices gameplay and build items that could have come with the mediterranean world cause they need room for wedding things

    Will i get this pack? most likely but I still feel like things would have been better
    if mediterranean things had it own pack and romance its own and both themes were complete.

    now i guess our only hopes are updates, kits or something on side of yet another pack

    I'm 100% still getting it but the world is the main reason - everything else is secondary. I have been experimenting over the last few days trying to build Mediterranean looking houses using the items already in the game and the results aren't *terrible*, but I am really sad that there just seems to be zero thought given to the world immersion.

    :lol: I think that has happened to all of us who have ever used CC at some point. For me, it happened back in the TS2 era. I ended up starting an entirely new game rather than try to get all of the Sims in the game looking right again. It was devastating, yet hilarious, at the same time.
