We have a list of build-related stuff we want to add to the game. Can't give more details or timelines for when you'll see stuff, but hang in there, I promise you haven't been forgotten!
Since then, we have new roofs and the ability to make some objects smaller. I was hoping that we would see more of the “list of build-related stuff” that he was talking about. If we are to see more build-related stuff added to the game, at this rate we will probably only see about 2 to 3 more build-related stuff added to the game before this iteration ends. EA/Maxis has no love for veteran builders. :(
Is the game really getting better? Only for family players, forget about the rest!
If they had delayed this game and added toddlers at the beginning and Parenthood maybe the first GP then there would have been no need to wait and wait and wait (three years) to get this stuff, and possibly they could have helped out builders. It seems we all sit around waiting on stuff that never shows up. Devaint players have been waiting forever, too, I know, I'm one of them. Vampires was a good start since they can bite Sims on their own and can break in if you ever allow one into your house. But players complained who didn't even want them but bought it anyway now want them out...go figure. I think the core was the problem and if those basic things like proper aging and attitudes (toddlers) and terrain tools were in game from the beginning we all would have been a lot happier. It's too bad they didn't delay the game another year, because it would have been a lot better for everyone including them and they wouldn't have had to listen to me complain about all of it.
