You and me both. Well, I don't "restart" so much as "repurpose." And I will never apologize for it. In my game I'm the god, and mistakes just aren't a thing for gods. :lol:

I'm one of those perpetual-save players (I don't understand this "starting over" concept—maybe if my game bugs out and the save gets corrupted, but knock on wood, that hasn't happened in nearly two years.) If I'm creating a sim in CAS, or modifying a townie beyond recognition into someone entirely new, I may not have any intention of ever playing that sim in an actual live-gameplay scenario, but they're far from forgotten as they weave their way through the tapestry of my simworld, like extras in a Hollywood movie.

Guilty.

At least she's in Strangerville and not in CAS, but basically an NPC now.

Oh man, now I feel bad. Some are so old they don't even have a thumbnail anymore. The shame :(

I'm terrible about that. I like to play around in CAS, and sometimes I'll create a Sim just for the fun of it, move them into a world and then forget about them. Periodically I have to go into manage worlds and delete some of them

I have tons of sims stuck in my Library that have never seen the light of day. And they probably never will.

I don't know how many times in the past couple of months that I created a sim, took them into game, played less than a sim week, and deleted the whole save.

Currently, I'm playing a household that I made years ago but I aged them down. It has kept my interest for a week at this point. How long that will last, remains to be seen, but I'm enjoying them for now.

I generally restart my same Sims. But, I have this hankering to do some Fall Cleaning. I need to remove the multiple copies of the same family groups. Each and every time you download them from My Library in the Gallery, it makes a copy of the family — which is great, don't get me wrong, but sheesh, the clutter!
