I'm reserving judgment on the snow depth because it does not seem that bad in the previews. Snow in the Sims always brings to mind what was funny but scary for me in Sims 2 with the deepest snow of all. Doghouses existed back then and one day during a deep snowfall I lost my two toddlers in the snow. After frantic searching I found them sleeping in the doghouse! All I really want in Sims 4 is enough snow to make a snowman.
