That's rather disappointing. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I feel like they should have been able to do it. Is it really that difficult? I'll still buy it because it does look like a fun pack, and it looks like they did a good job in other areas.
My problem with this is they left out a new world just like in sims 3 to focus on other stuff. In sims 3 we got amazing weather, deep snow, dynamic weather. Now they left out snow and a world and what are we getting for essentially huge trade offs?
Okay, I don't know why you're saying there isn't snow, there is and it's beautiful.

This snow looks absolutely beautiful to me, even if it is flat. It works with the sim's 4's art style.
And it doesn't seem too different from other games I play.

If "flat" snow didn't bother me and still looked beautiful in all those games, it wouldn't bother me now.
As for the trade offs, we're getting Thermostats, Greenhouses, Swings, Designing our own custom holidays, scouts, sprinklers, kiddie pools, scarecrows, tree decorating, easter bunny, santa (father winter), bee keeping, flower arranging and botany skills and much more.
Sims 3 seasons didn't even come with greenhouses, you had to buy the extra store set for around $20-$40 dollars that conveniently released around the same time? Sounds like a my first pet stuff to me.
