That's disappointing, mostly because now even a blizzard and light show shower will produce the same amount of snow on the ground, not to mention Sims making snowmen with a quarter-inch of snow. I know there'll be some snow pile props, but that's not even close to being a replacement.
It's no deal-breaker and I get they wanted to focus on other stuff instead, but still. If the other stuff they decided to focus on isn't leaps above TS2/TS3 then real disappointment will set in
(Also of course they're gonna say it's the best Seasons ever, why would they talk down about a new EP they want to sell lol)
