Yeah, I'm doing the 100 baby challenge and my founder sim is now a 5 star celebrity with a leaked phone, and his grown children are out there and at least a few times he's gotten the "so hot" comment from one of them. Honestly, it's pretty weird and awkward that his kids show up as "fans" in public spaces, and that his kids are always "reacting positively" and shit. I wish there was an option to make family--and good friends too really--immune or the fame reactions. They should really only be for strangers/acquaintances, imo.

My Global Superstar's mom gets all giddy, too. Hello, she gave birth to him. LOL I think that's taking parental pride a bit far. I recall reading an article many years ago after Paul McCartney's dad got remarried to a woman who had a 9-year old daughter. When asked what she thought about Paul being her brother, she basically said, "he's just a guy." So, I agree 100% family (and hopefully close friends) should be proud of the star's accomplishments, but still treat them like a Sim, you know?

Haha, there is never a dull moment for us simmers, is there? I can think of another 'oh my' moment that happened to me recently. One of my sims is an infamous villain and grand master vampire. He had just forced his hero archenemy to suffer a cardiac explosion and was celebrating his death. The Grim Reaper of course showed up to do his thing, but then proceeded to ask my sim for his autograph! It turns out he's been a big fan of his for a while now. :D

My sims are married but ever so often one of their friends will call saying they have someone they want my sim to date.

I caught a picture of Grimmie asking for an autograph. Mind you, my star's Stan just perished in the back yard where my Star lived at the time.

He tried and failed. That's what's also so very sad about it. After turning him down, the Grim decided to ask for an autograph. My Sim being of a Pristine Reputation, is too nice for his own good. LOL So, he signed the derned thing. :open_mouth:
