Am I to take this as the sims are uncomfortable/awkward around each other but are still into each other romantically? That can't be it because the romantic bar is in the red, with a little bit of green for friendship.

Please help a fellow simmer to understand lol.

I never saw that one before, mostly because I am too stuck in my ways of Sim Utopia...

Sounds like they're only in the relationship for one reason and one reason alone

I got that relationship status after my sim turned down advances from another sim during the free love NAP. Basically the other sim just started serenading and then kissing my sim out of the blue then asked her on a date and was turned down.

It's very awkward happens when two Sims had a very serious break up. Basically they are on friendly terms but their romance is -100%. Usually happens after a divorce. There is also opposite of this - wicked romance or something like that - when two Sims HATE each other but have very high romance score. "I hate you but I must have you", basically.

Well at least their relationship has that one thing what is still working, maybe even too well :p

I was under the impression that a red romance bar means the sims want nothing to do with each other romantically. Though in my sim's contextual socials there was an option to kiss the other sim.

Perhaps I'm thinking too much in black and white. :lol:
