@popo500 » Use the name of the career that you join from the computer or phone. For example, if you want to promote the programming career track use the following code:

careers.promote TechGuru

The Tech Guru is the career name from a cell phone or computer job search. You will need to use that career ID each time you attempt to promote a Sims career within that career track.
