Jealousy at the Romance Festival

Anybody here ever gotten their Sim's Boyfriend/Girlfriend or Better half jealous at the Romance Festival in San Myshuno? Because every time I take my Sims couple there, an NPC always, and I mean ALWAYS, hits on one of my Sims after the first five minutes, leaving the other one with a Very Angry Moodlet for 24 Sim hours while even though my Male or Female Sim isn't interested in the NPC; it's just constant every time I have my sims go to that festival, and it's a bit annoying.

The love guru did this to my sim after he told them they had a relationship destined to last a lifetime. They broke up because of it.

Yes, this happened to my couple. I ended up getting MC Command Center and turning off jealousy.

Happened to me too. Tried cancelling it out and resetting the sim before it happens but it still kept going on. My sims no longer go to that festival unless they are single other wise it's prank, spice, geek and flea market only.

I thought the Romance Festival was made on purpose to help you find a mate for your sim. It's not really a place for couples to hang out, unless you wish to create these jealousy situations.

Maybe your sims just have the 'come hither' look about them. Or maybe they are just plain naughty.

It hasn't happen to me yet, because I usually only bring singles there (so far anyway) but once I saw some spectacular facial gymnastics and stompy body girations on Nancy Landbrab when her hubby was surrounded by flirty girls. I wasn't playing them btw. I was there with Cassandra Goth.

I sent one Sim there just to go there while his husband was at work. He was so sad and miserable the entire time there. He even got very angry at people throwing flowers at him. When hubby got off work and joined him you couldn't have found two happier people. They went and got drinks together and sat off at a bench somewhere chatting away. I never had any jealousy issues or whatnot there. I only take them there for buying fireworks actually.

I think you can buy a Moodlet Solver in their reward store for 500 points. that removes all negative moodlets from your Sims. It's also a happy one that could work too. you can just keep some in your inventory, also you can buy one and leave it out for others to drink in your household.

Have had it happen several times. Odd thing is, it generally happens because of the too flirty problem complained about elsewhere. My sims wind up with 'romantic connections' with sims they have no interest in because of it, and if I send a single sim to said festival one of those connections will be there, flirt with someone, and my sim goes into a tear. All automatically. Very annoying.
