The highest a sim can go in this game?
In the screenshot it looks as if the rocketship rises even higher, but I think they both vanish from sight at the same elevation.

That looks really awesome. I never considered rockets or spaceships on top of the mountain but now I wanna try. It feels like a secret base with a great view of the stars

Shortly after the battle of Crait, Finn confronts Kylo Ren in Black Spire, on the planet Batuu. He has no chance of defeating the Master of Ren, but just enough willpower to drive the dark side adept away. After the encounter the city is safe for another day.
Meanwhile the First Order seems to have changed its approach to ruling the occupied planet. Is that General Hux hugging local children?!
And what's with that scarily human-looking droid in the white shirt?
Finn's triumph changes into sorrow, when Poe tells him that BB-8 broke down and that the pilot is about to get a new one. How cold and distant the friend has said this... And why is Poe running around in the First Order district in that bright orange flightsuit, that marks him as a target?
Finn seeks out Master Savi, who councels him that he shouldn't walk around after dark anymore. Savi shows Finn what he takes for a safe place to spend the night. But what Finn will see in the safehouse will change his life even more completely than having defected from the First Order.
EDGE OF DETROIT is a picture story that I'm writing with my Star Wars sims. I start posting tomorrow, if you're interested: Edge of Detroit (At the moment there isn't anything to see under this tag.)
It warms my heart when I see a new comment in this thread. š
I'll probably still advertise this pack when Sims 5 is out š
Back in the old forum I removed every 0/10 vote from a "Rate the GPs" thread and the result was that everyone who wasn't outright condemning JtB on the spot was rating the pack at a 6 or 7. Lots of unrealized potential, but perfectly enjoyable.
BATUU RESOURCES
I decided to compile a short resources list for everyone who wants to jump into Star Wars and/or Batuu gameplay but is annoyed by the restrictions. This list is meant to give some basics to beginners. There are way more mods and cc around, but the ones in this post are those I use myself and can answer questions about.
Before we start, do we really want Rey to be without Finn, Rose and Poe, Kylo without Hux and Vi Moradi without Captain Cardinal? From Anakin Skywalker to the pregnant force ghost of Darth Vader (not joking), almost every Star Wars character is in the gallery. Lots of ready to use builds, too.
A gallery version of Finn showcasing the perfect t-shirt to go with your visit to Batuu!
The basics: Cheats
You'll want to have testingcheats active before entering the other cheats.
To build on the three premade lots:
bb.enablefreebuild
To find and use the Batuu deco in other worlds:
bb.showhiddenobjects
bb.showlifeeditobjectsIf you still cannot find something, type "debug" into the catalogue search and more objects will appear. The X-Wing, TIE-echelon and Falcon require this approach.
Reminder that the space ships are functional everywhere, I took one to the summit of Mt. Komorebi and it looked awesome!
cas.unlockbytag GP09 will give you access to the Batuu outfits instantly.
Droids will follow sims around in other worlds, if you shift-click on them and then choose "follow protocol". They can even enter shallow water (tried it in Tartosa).
With testingcheats enabled, shift-click on a sim, find "pack cheats" -> "game packs" -> "Batuu" and you can set your reputation or give yourself the Batuu items. This is useful if you have a specific backstory in mind for your sim. I think the white kyber crystal is unobtainable, but you can get it from build/buy on your homelot. "give batuu items" is mainly useful when you are already in Batuu.
The advanced options: mods
Reminder: Always make a copy of your "saves" and "tray" folder before introducing new mods to your game. When you no no longer want the mods, delete the file localthumbcache in your Sims 4 folder.
The most important mod to create immersion is the one that gets rid of the enforced Batuu outfits. With it you can wear tourist outfits or individual Star Warsy attire. Wear whatever on Batuu.
There are many mods that unlock the complete CAS including all Batuu outfits. I use this one. It isn't automatic, but instead works by shift-clicking on the mailbox, so you can choose which households should have access to the full CAS and who will have to work for their unlocks.
Rotational players will find that Sims 4 doesn't load inventories of other household sims, thus making it impossible to duel your own sims from currently inactive households with lightsabers. This mod enables dueling, but be careful, the sims really enjoy this activity. My diner has become the local lightsaber fencing hotspot whenever two lightsaber owning sims spawn there.
An orange swatch for the BB astromech droid can be found here: BB-8
There are several mods that enable occult powers on Batuu so that your dark side adepts can throw around force lightning or properly duel each other. I used this one for a long time.
Need a sim to appear on scene RIGHT NOW? Maybe your Rey/Kylo is stuck or you want to have your pet despite the game not allowing it. Then the teleporter statue is your friend. Without a control pets mod having animals in Batuu is not recommended, however.
The statue also has a new function directly added to the menu: "Just go away" makes any sim leave instantly. (At least I think that one came with the statue, correct me if I'm wrong).
Sims teleported in via the statue can get added to the household by shift-clicking the sim and then choosing the "add to family option". In this case they will still have their complete inventories, so if you want a laptop or Freeze Ray in Batuu, this is the is the way to go. Be mindful with streaming drones and mini sheep/goats, please, they tend to get lost in the regular worlds a lot already, Batuu isn't an exception in this.
Other useful mods are TOOL for moving objects off lot (I place public toilets in all districts) and All cheats enabled to destroy stuck objects via shift-clicking. Get both here.
And finally my perhaps favorite part:
Tired of Lt. Agnon, Vi Moradi, Rey and Kylo Ren? With MCCC you can have Tarkin, Vader, Leia and Luke instead. The options "complete sex change" and "import tray sim" allow you to change the appearance of the iconic npc while fully retaining their functions.
Just keep in mind that MCCC is a complex mod. Definitely study what exactly it does and which modules you want before you let it do anything in your game.

Brilliant! That's some handy-dandy information, thanks for sharing! š
Here's an example for the lightsaber mod. I gifted a certain someone a red lightsaber:
This is great info! Thanks for sharing.
- Some info on Batuu.
Batuu was a remote terrestrial planet on the edge of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories, in the Batuu system of the Trilon sector. Millennia before the rise of the Galactic Empire, prior to the invention of hyperspace travel, Batuu was a popular stopping point for those traveling to Wild Space and the Unknown Regions. However, the opening of hyperspace routes caused the planet to be bypassed, resulting in the deterioration of the planet's reputation into that of a forgotten backwater world. The largest settlement on the planet was Black Spire Outpost, a seedy smuggler's haven run by the intimidating Blutopian Oga Garra. Batuu's surface was covered in jungles, oceans, and the petrified remains of ancient trees, referred to by the local Batuuans as "spires," which towered over the planet's landscapes. The world was also home to farming communities, such as Peka and Surabat, and the town of Galma, known for its mechanics.

I'm so frakking excited!! - LuckylunayreNew SpectatorI remember the good old days when we didn't need a negative and a positive thread for every single pack, we could just discuss both with each other.
I think I really need a break from these forums for my mental health. - I like the B/B aesthetic. And some of the CAS.
I was most curious about the new system that would be added to the GP because I silently figured it was SW at the beginning of speculation. I guess the new system is reputation? Iām actually not sure I understand all of the features. Iām not sure how this GP will fit into my civilization building gameplay style but if I can find something in it that seems usable, I will buy it. - HermitgirlNew SpectatorI was hoping it would be more generic sci-fi involving Sixam and upgrading aliens ... but I'm positive I can use the world it comes with .. it looks great. The build/buy and toys like light sabers will be used to make some fun stories.
Think I'm seeing a Star Wars marathon movie watch in my future too... cause it's been a long time.
I also can't wait for the mods that will come from this we got light sabers and storm trooper guns coming... lol. I know what that means for me. "Hermitgirl;c-17630247" wrote:

Same. I have all but the most recent DVDs but I believe they're all available on Disney Plus.
