My sim rolled a bucktlist goal to spend a day in oasis springs. So the only logical consequence is to take a vacation at the batuu neighborhood in oasis springs ;)
They dressed in a new outfit which is more appropriate for the surroundings
Their holiday home for the weekend, including custom transport. (and christmas lights that couldn't be removed )
Visiting the local park
The park even got a recent upgrade with some playground equiment. (Don't mind the legs in the forground of the picture. That's someone on the swing)
Even dad joined in on the playground fun.
In the evening Aster is very enthusiastically retelling his adventures of the day at the vacation rental. His red plumbob shows he really needs some sleep but other than that he is in a great mood.
After Aster went to bed, mom and dad watched a movie. The local TV channel even offers movies with robots.
I love your Batuu neighborhood! I've been wanting to put one in somewhere, but I've used my Oasis Springs neighborhoods for other themes already. I was looking at the Quarry area of the Eco Lifestyle world, but the houses kind of disrupt the illusion. Chestnut Ridge areas would probably work as well, but instead of doing that, I think I'll move my Old West section out of Oasis and into the Ridge, and use those lots for Batuu builds I got from the Gallery.
I suppose I could use a more wooded area to look like Endor as well. I'll have to take a look at the lot styles I've saved. I just wish droids worked the same way in other Sim worlds.

LiELF the galaxy has so many planets, I think many areas are suitable for a batuu neighborhood. Chestnut ridge comes to mind, but also the bramblewood or windenburg island. Just not too many deco buildings.

Windenberg Island is a great idea! It's isolated enough that it feels away from normal civilization.
