I had (almost) forgotten about my Growing up homeless on Batuu save, but jumped in again today.
In vanilla Sims 4 survival for a child is easy: free popcorn from Docking Bay 7, fun from the smartphone, social from the local, everything else from the hideout rabbithole. For my sim I require him to pay for his food. Searching trash cans for discarded toys yields good money, and four days into his child stage my sim has around 300 credits saved up. (Just make sure to sell everything not native to Batuu before changing zones, because traveling clears the inventory. I lost several voidcritter cards that I had wanted to keep this way.)
I also want to fulfill all childhood aspirations, what led to a simulataneously cute and terrible development: Meet the three little stormtroopers.
The tiny troopers came into being when I needed to befriend three children for the Social Butterfly aspiration. I spawned them with cheats and then gave them makeovers.
Morgyn at first met the trio at the space port playground, wondering why these strange children wouldn't join in.

He couldn't know that the other boys had been trained for combat almost from birth.

For the "Have a best friend forever" task I befriended a First Order officer who had already suffered several "Ask for diaper" and "Ask to play requests during the toddler stage. (The latter got refused almost always and I'm not sure if that is because my sim was smelly or because Batuu npc don't do this period.)
Anyway here the man is:

I picture the officer as my sim's mentor. Morgyn asked him to make him a cadet, too, but the man refused, explaining that Morgyn was already too old.
School is disabled and I will cheat for the "Get an A+" task. I believe it would be possible to constantly come and go, but sending my sim into the school rabbithole and through two loading screens per day is no fun.
