Jungle Adventure Question

My sim reached the temple and only has a few hours left of vacation. I don't plan to extend the vacation. When she returns, will the areas she cleared still be open, or will she need to cut the vines again? Note, I am playing a rotation. Not sure if that affects it.

What is behind the different gates? I've been to the bath house, temple, plane crash. I think I've been through all the gates but now I'm second guessing it.

Off top of old head: there's also an island, orchard/garden (from the pool), and a semi-cleared area.

Fully agree with the sentiments this is one of the best packs/places for sims to visit. Maxing out the culture skill (would like to see it go to 10 levels - lots of potential with that) should include the option to have a regular residence there.

It's a shame we don't have the tools to build our own jungle areas. I can think of a lot more types to visit.
