TS2, hands down! Been playing it steadily since the day of its release, and it never gets old. Story telling beyond compare, fully controlled rotational play, matchless animations, build tools par excellance, and so much more. It already is what TS4 can never hope to be.
I never played TS2 (I was only 3 years old when it released xD), but I often hear it's a great game. But I doubt I could get into it now, as the graphics without cc seem too outdated and there is this thing that time doesn't go forward on the home lot while going to another one, which is just immersion-breaking for me unfortunately. And I heard that the loading screens take reaaallly long. But I always liked how the animations were done. I was really impressed when I've seen a TS2 video and there was an actual animation when getting into a car, or taking out all the stuff before cooking. I like that. It seems like animations become less in every new ideration released.
