Just, Wow (In a possibly good way).

Started a new project. Only the second time ever I have got serious about rotational TS4 play.
I have started single households many times, thought I knew what the settling in was all about. That was then/before...

First household is a single YA living in the apartment with gremlins. Called a handyman to help clean up.
The handyman got electrocuted! :o Luckily my Sim was able to (successfully) plead for his life.
Same Sim had a firework backfire on him in that same/first week {okay, that could have been my fault for using fireworks but in our defence, I didn’t know they could scorch a Sim like that}

Second household is much fuller. A father, his child/school-aged son, toddler daughter and the YA sister who is helping him cope with the kids/sort of mooching off him at the same time.
The Welcome Wagon made for a crowd, but got through, with the exception of a neighbour who hung around for hours and hours.
Third day in, early hours of the morning, I notice the drying {laundry} is waiting to be done. There is NO clean lint tray option.
Dryer still sets a fire. Poor sis is on fire. Dad comes out and I was going to send him to extinguish the fire but (luckily) he was more worried about getting the toddler to safety. YA female comes back from the shower and extinguishes the flames.

No real harm done in either home; but it was a close call. What I don’t completely understand is how my other saves, with one active household never, ever seemed to have this much chaos. Like WOW (though possibly in a good way).
I wonder what the other two apartments will end up bringing. There’s Needs TLC and Haunted to deal with yet. :#
{And yeah, I’ve had multiple Sims live in all the different apartments in previous saves}

    Oh, and when I was laughing out loud from the firework incident, I had to explain what was so funny {I happened to have taken my laptop to Mum’s house that day}

    Mum says “I’m glad you think torturing them is funny”. {She is a very, very casual/occasional Simmer and usually builds if anything}
  • That's an intense first day at rotational play! Glad no one died at least. And I didn't realize fireworks could scorch a sim, but I'm not surprised. I've just never had it happen yet.
