Kid is sick - parent has no new options.
I am annoyed that parents don't even acknowledge their child's sickness in this game. This game finds new ways to disappoint me every time I try to play.

With The Sims 2: FreeTime installed, Sims with Family as their primary or secondary aspiration can achieve the aspiration benefit Grandma's Comfort Soup, which allows them to cook a special soup regardless of their cooking skill. Children can't even take medicine. You can hear them coughing and you can't do anything to help them.
Granted. Sims still didn't notice their children were sick, which is what I'm assuming the poster was attempting to hilite.
Other sims have not acknowledged it in any sims game.
One would think that by now some advanced thought-process would take place, but no.
AI has not improved no matter how much one might want to convince themselves that it has.
