Kids are so Boring

The title says it all!
They are so boring in this game. There is hardly anything for them to do.

All they have is:
1. Activity Table
2. Monkey Bars/ Jungle Gym
3. Toybox
4. Stuffed Animal
5. Violin
6. Computer games

And when they're not doing those things, all they do is CLEAN. Mopping up puddles, washing the dishes, taking out the trash. The kids literally are so bored they're cleaning.


Can we please get some more content for kids?

You should try Sims2! The kids have so much, I was astounded. They play cops and robbers, tag, toss a football, play catch, play Marco Polo in the pool, families can not only hug but give 'kiss (family)', tell stories, be read to, I've seen parents spontaneously go past their sleeping teen and smoothe the covers over them and lean down and kiss their cheek.

You can tell stories and read to children and toddlers in Sims 4. Children can perform puppet shows for their families. Children can also be tucked in, read to sleep, etc. I think the game is just worth a bit of exploring because there's quite a bit for kids. We're just lacking the group animations like tag, tossing balls for all ages -- for some reason, these seem not to work well in the Sims 4 (someone already mentioned the odd snowball and water fights). I wish they would work more on activities like these, but I think there's a good amount of stuff for kids to do already.

This isn't about toddlers, but toddlers sometimes use their imaginations when playing with adults. We can only see their thoughts when we have them selected.
