The whole game is commercialization of someone’s culture, from the base game up. It’s a life simulator. If you want something that doesn’t treat life as a commodity, a game whose slogan was “Play with Life” might not be the best choice. We really do need to wrap our brains around the fact that this game is a product not a community service for everyone’s personal causes. They present us with a product at a price point. At that point we decide if the price is worth the entertainment value, or not. It’s transactional, folks. Just business. We take it way too personally, sometimes.
