Kits kits kits kits

I thought the idea of kits being in the sims 4 meant we would be getting them regularly/more frequently in between long waiting times I was really excited about this being a regular thing getting little pieces here and there.
  • I don't dislike kits, I have three of them, the first three they put out. I haven't bought any of the others yet as they don't appeal to me. I like that they are centered around a specific theme, so if it appeals to me I buy it, if not I skip it. I would love a kit centered around additional pool accessories, traditional items please!!! I would also love a kit centered around curtains, I only like a few of the items we already have.

I have a very mixed opinion on kits. Some of them are good but some are just a waste of money and space.

Which ones did you like? Which were a waste?

I love all the build kits for example.?
I build 90% of the time now.

The throwback kit I just got as I disabled fitness stuff.?‍?It felt too similar to buy at same time as using fitness.

The busted dust just didn’t appeal to me. I wanted to place a hoover to trigger the dust. The fact ALL houses you play need cleaning is time consuming. The dust bunnies are too bizarre for me.
I don’t get why there’s an option to turn the dust off either, then why buy the pack? It’s all about cleaning! ??‍♂️

Also I don’t like how they hoover in one place per room and the entire floor is clean. In big houses that would be odd to see.

Also no broom ? or dustpan and brush! ?

  • @Genie1221 I have bought the Oasis one and the Kitchen one now. ;)
  • yeah and I thought we would have ware wolves and fairies by now except we get more S4 useless packs that you play a few hours and wish you didn't buy it

I like the kits, but I have to say I miss the stuff packs because they had a little of everything, build/buy, gameplay, hair, and clothes.

Not using CC, I really do enjoy the extra furniture, clothes, etc. provided with the kits.

I wouldn’t mind having a hair kit as well.

I honestly thought this would be pool related stuff, like maybe a more traditional looking diving board, new floats, a slide etc. Not that I mind the loft stuff, it’s an aesthetic I have loved since my teens when Hope Williams moved into a loft apartment on the wharf in Salem on the soap opera Days Of Our Lives. :D Oh man, I just dated myself without question. ?

I would really like a normal diving board and slide. Sims 2 Seasons slide remains my favourite pool accessory.

Also we need smaller telescopes and more hot tubs designs.

They'll be pushing out a kit every month they don't have another type of pack.

If we have kits, we don't need styles of things, like "Morrocco Style" and "Brooklyn Style". We need kits that fill in holes like "Swimming Costume Style" and "Curtains Style" and "Counters/Cabinets Style"

They should give us some central bars in a variety of styles and lengths for joining separate curtains, and then a whole heap of separate curtain items. That would be a fab kit.

I agree with this. All those left and right piece curtains definitely need a central piece. I think they should make all curtains modular, so we could adjust widths as we like.

I want modular curtains too. But some will probably complain about EA being greedy trying to sell incomplete curtain rods if they include centre pieces.
