Kleptomaniac Trait

In one of my previous households I had a cleaning man with the klepto trait. Things went missing and at first I didn't realise he took them. I thought it was a glitch :grin:

I had a sim with this trait, I remade him from a ts3 favorite. All he did was being tense all the time from not stealing, or embarrassed from failed stealing. He would steal huge decor stuff like the sign outside the gym in oasis spring, thus ruining the decor of many community lots. Everyday after work (athlete career) he'd either come back with a stack of dirty dishes or a boxing equipment. I quickly got tired of this and gave him another trait.

Now I wish swiping was a club activity.... Oh maaaaan, I'd totally love to make a klepto-kids-club sending the little ones out to steal things while mom distracts the home owners on the front door xD

Also, sims will get a tense moodlet if they haven't swiped in a while. Stealing from work doesn't alleviate the moodlet.

the moodlet has different lengths depending on the value of the swiped item. i think its 8 hours for really expensive stuff.

Oh, I didn't know that! I'll have to start swiping more, haha. Sometimes I'll just have my sim steal every painting from the art gallery.

I was wondering the same thing ! I made a klepto sim, & wanted her entire household to be filled only with items she had taken. Didn't exactly work that way. =/

I recently learned something new. If you click on a stolen object there is an option to have the stolen good returned.

No I have my sim go at night because she's a vampire. Apparently if your mischief skill is low there's certain things you can only steal at first. And there's a cool down period between your swipes.
