Q1: I don't think sims should gain fame from it. I do think sims could take a skill and/or elective class in uni about kniting! I'm hoping that there will be some craftable hats, gloves, scarves??? lol, that keep you warm in the cold weather with seasons.
Q2: I'd be estatic if crochet made it in!
Q3: I'd love to be able to craft at any desk, including the craft desk. I'd also like to be able to knit in any chair too.
Q5: I'd be ok with it!
Q6: I have nothing to add to this but I just have to say I seriously hope this makes it in! I'm all for gameplay for elders and youngsters!
Q7: I don't have an Etsy store, but I do sell clothes online. For me it's a lot of chit chatting with customers, answering questions they might have, and when I make a sale I wrap it up in tissue paper and ribbon and put in a thank you note. The wrapping up all pretty like would be cool as an optional thing when a sim makes a sale! Also to add onto that, it would be cool if it cost a little money to wrap it up because in real life it costs money to get the supplies. I've also made some online friends from meeting other people selling and from repeat customers. It'd be cool if we could make friends from doing that. As for the actual selling you gotta get a nice clean looking backround and good lighting. Maybe the photography equipment from Get to Work or Moschino stuff could play into that? Yay for more cross pack compatibility!
Q8: I can't wear wool things because I'm super senesitive to the itchiness. Maybe a sim could get an uncomfortable moodlet because of itchiness or it being too warm because wool can get really hot. An embarrased moodlet would be nice too if the sweater is ugly. Or a moodlet that's like heartwarming if a family member knitted it for them. The moodlets could happen randomly so not every sim gets the same moodlet.
Q9: Why did the kleptomaniac only knit metal sweaters? They had to steel wool! I was walking down the road the other day and saw a guy knitting while driving. I yelled, "pull over!" He said, "no sweater". Someone told me that it takes 5 sheep to knit a sweater. I didn't know they could knit!
Q10: I'd want it to be user controlled. I don't neccesarily want all my sims to be knitters so I feel having the interaction autonomous would mess with that.
